I think the lady who cuts hair is very kind and does a great job. It is a very kid friendly place with toys and chairs that look like cars, truck, tractor, etc. This place would get 5 stars from me if it weren't so dirty inside. The whole place is covered in hair. Because of this I am looking for another salon to take my son. It's kind of gross when you leave and your kid's clothes are covered in someone else's hair. Last time I even brought a change of clothes in the car so I could change him after we left.

For starters, the stylist and the receptionist both have poor attitudes to be working around children. I have only brought my daughter a few times, just to have her bangs cut. Every time I go, the stylist would make comments and say you should cut this and that. I am here to cut her bangs and only her bangs. I got a major attitude last time and when I went to pay got charged $20 for long hair when all I had done was her bangs cut!!!!! I could have easily gone to the $5 place and got her bangs cut! You go to a beauty salon and they charge $5 for bangs cut! This place is a rip off with an attitude to go!!!!!

Needless to say my experience there was HORRIBLE, I will NEVER go back.. and it's a shame, I really liked Danielle. I can only assume that the negative attitude of her receptionist has worn off on her... and maybe the summer of tourist showing up late or maybe not at all has made them bitter Betty's.. but that's unfortunate since I was not a tourist and was indeed a returning client.

If you would have asked me to rate this place four months ago I would have given it 5 stars.. however something awful has happened there. I had taken my kids there about 5 times from Sept '10 to May '11 and it was a pleasant experience. Danielle was great with them and a pleasure to talk to. My family and I moved for a few months and came back to the area in August '11 and we were so excited to go back to see Danielle... however it was truly a disappointment.

I went there one time so far. I have not had any problems. My son is 16 months old. He is very hyperactive and is on a autism spectrum list. He has not yet been diagnosed. I had warned them in advanced. She has assured me that they will try their best. That Danielle was very good at dealing with children with different disabilities. I got there a little early and was taken immediately. My son was a little fussy at first. But was then distracted by another woman who was great and gave him some candy that seemed to calm him down. He was done in less than 5 mins! They were great! I didn't have a bad experience. I will be taking my son there again. Thanks again for a great job! :-)

We were 10 minutes late for our appointment, completely my fault, I had misjudged the length of time it would take to get there coming from our new location. When we arrived we were NOT welcomed, Danielle and the receptionist had horrible sour pusses on their faces, I promptly apologized for our tardiness, explaining about the new route.. and I got a ehh..ok... and still nasty sour pusses. She was not friendly to the kids and certainly not to me. Noticing her attitude I tried to change it and make conversation. When conversation was one word answers from her, I asked her if she was ok.. and I got a yes and then I stated really you seem a little grumpy. At this point her receptionist said "That's because we don't like customers who are late." .... REALLY?!! You own a kids salon, and you are telling me that you expect every parent to always be on time? Anyhow, I told them they could cancel my son's cut if it was that big of a deal and she said we will see.. after finishing the cut for my daughter (which wasn't even what I asked her to do) she asked if she could skip the blow dry so she could do my son.. I said that's fine (I really should have just left at that point). After she was done with him, she didn't even wipe off the ton of hair all over him and his clothes and said nothing to me. So as I checked out with the receptionist, I merely stated to her in a calm and very LOW voice, that no matter how upset you are with a customer that they are late, that should NEVER come across to your client.. I should have been welcomed with a smile and a hello and if it was that big of a deal simply say because you were late we may not be able to fit both the kids in.. I'm an adult and understand. But to be treated the way I was.. was unacceptable. At this point the nasty receptionist became loud and began yelling at me that it was my fault and I had come in on the end of a conversation about how rude customers are that show up late. And that by stating that Danielle seemed grumpy I had initiated the fight and that I had never been to the salon (although I had the frequent hair cut card for both kids stamped and all...).

we have been using them for a 2yrs with both our boys...they are strict to the timeframe they allot. that being said, if that's the worst thing, and you cannot keep the scheduled time, then go to a bigger salon, where they don't book appointments around punctuality.
